 These plants are new to the yard this year, spread by the wind and birds, they are all volunteers in our yard. They have grown to about 4 feet high and the bees, butterflies, wasps and lovebugs  love them. They are a perennial that grows from Canada to Florida. It is sometimes called  Gravel root, Thorough Wort  or Ague Weed. break Bone  It was used extensively by Native Americans  and others as a fever reducer and a diuretic.. beingb used extensively in the South to treat  Break Bone , Thyphoid and Yellow fevers.  For more information on  Boneset see:
